A peaceful place to visit. The Thousand Pillar Temple is one of the very old temples of South India that was built by the kakatiyas. The temple has a number of pillars that are intricately carved and adorned. Rock-cut elephants and perforated screens in the temple are characteristic of the then prevailing dynasty. Many pilgrims visit. It is also a popular location for shooting films. It stands out to be a masterpiece and achieved major heights in terms of architectural skills by the ancient kakathiya vishwakarma sthapathis. It’s the first place that any explorer should visit in Warangal.

beautiful land-locked water body with lazy, green island strewn in between,
this place is an absolute treat to eye. The lake has suspension bridges to one
of the islands, and several jetties on the bridge and along the lake end. Visit
the place positively if you wish to witness natural and man-made beauty hand in
hand. The place is around 80 km away from Warangal but is well connected by
road.
